Due to terror attacks by ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists, the killings of ethnics, setting fire to ethnic Hindus and Kathae villages and the destruction of roads and bridges with mine attacks in northern Rakhine State, ethnics are fleeing to safer places.
ARSA extremist Bengali terrorists set fire to monasteries, Buddha images, schools and houses in the villages where local ethnic people had left . Due to destructive acts, 42 houses, 13 shops, one monastery, one free philanthropic school and student hostels were lost in Nanthataung Village,49 houses in Kathae Village, 40 houses in Khontaing Village, 34 houses, one monastery, one Buddhist ordination hall and one Dhammayon in upper Pyuma Village, seven houses in Labawwa Village and 15 houses in Dewarnarli Village. Security forces continue area clearance operations there.
